The little things in life are the important ones. Here’s my favorite MOSS 2007 improvement for today: the location of the Save button on the list new-item or edit-item form. In SPS 2003, if you were entering data into a list with many fields, once you got to the bottom you had to scroll all the way back up to the top to click “Save and Close.” Similarly, if you were making back-end changes, such as changing the name of a list or library, you had to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the form to click “OK,” even if you were just changing one setting at the top. But now the buttons are located at the top and bottom of all forms – problem solved! It looks a little strange on very short forms, but I'll take that over the scrolling any day!
